The 2016 Volvo XC60 continues to be a solid choice. The five-passenger XC60 boasts plenty of interior space, a comprehensive feature set, top-notch crash test scores and some of the best EPA-estimated fuel efficiency from the front-wheel-drive Drive-E T5 and T6 versions.
PERFORMANCE
The 2016 XC60 T5 Drive-E is fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 240 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque with FWD and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 2016 XC60 T5 AWD comes with a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged 250 hp engine with 266 lb-ft of torque.
The 2016 Volvo XC60 T6 Drive-E is fitted with a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine good for 302 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The 2016 XC60 T6 AWD models get a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 with 300 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque and finally the R-Design has 325 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque.
Eight-speed Geartronic Automatic Transmission, paddle shifters and lower fuel consumption gives off 30% fewer harmful emissions, all standard.
TECHNOLOGY
Volvo Technology package is standard on the XC60's Platinum Model which is adaptive cruise control, an upgraded forward collision mitigation system, driver alertness and lane departure warning systems and automatic high beam headlight control.

Dual Two-Stage Integrated Booster Seats come optional which accommodate children with a height/weight range from 37 inches and 33 pounds to 55 inches and 80 pounds that pop up from the backseat.
A floating center stack and available real wood trim which makes it more distinctive for the 2016 Volvo XC60. Rear seat space and above-average headroom and legroom for adults make the XC60 great for it's class. Maximum cargo space is 67 cubic feet and 30.8 cubic feet with all seats upright.
