2020 Volvo XC40 vs 2020 Audi Q3 near Rockville, MD

1600 × 900
SUVs have become more and more popular for their versatility and style. The 2020 Volvo XC40 is one such model, and we have it available now at Volvo Cars Silver Spring. While other small SUVs on the market may appear similar, including the 2020 Audi Q3, the Volvo XC40 stands out in several important ways.

The Volvo XC40 offers two four-cylinder 2.0-liter engines, one that earns 187 horsepower and the other 248 horsepower. Each is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and auto-manual, and the Volvo XC40 has two drivetrain options: front- or all-wheel drive.

The Audi Q3 only offers all-wheel drive, for starters. The engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that delivers a top output of 228 horsepower, so not quite as powerful as that option in the Volvo XC40. The Volvo model gets up to 27 MPG combined, whereas the Audi car gets just 22 MPG combined.

In the interior, the Volvo XC40 near Rockville, MD provides two USB ports, an optional wireless charging pad, and standard compatibility with AppleCarPlay™ and Android Auto™. The Volvo XC40 offers standard visibility and safety features such as automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlamps. Optional features include a semi-autonomous driving mode.

The Audi Q3 offers a few similar tech features, with available blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, but doesn’t include the semi-autonomous driving mode option.
